The center's philosophy is grounded on the belief that within each child lies a “miracle" that requires the support of a professionally and academically prepared staff specializing in early childhood education to help children attain their full potential. As a result, the center is committed to offering developmentally appropriate best practices based on the highest international standards of early childhood education and the most recent findings from specialized research.

    The Early Childhood Center at Qatar University, provides services for children aged three (Pre-K) to five years (KG1–KG2), in ways that support each child's holistic developmental aspects. The center offers a nurturing and supportive environment that values each child's individuality, encourages their growth, and respectfully celebrates the diverse cultures to which our children belong.

    The Early Childhood Center aims to be a role model for high-quality preschool education on a local, regional, and worldwide levels. We are pleased to announce that the center, guided by the esteemed leadership of the College of Education and with the valued support of Qatar University's administration, is confidently working toward attaining international accreditation for its programs beginning in Fall 2025.

    To achieve its ambitious objectives, the Center's successive administrations have worked hard to improve educational services through the thoughtful implementation of the "developed" Creative Curriculum, with a focus on deepening the Arabic language in a way that is consistent with Qatari culture, identity, and context, as directed by Qatar University's mission and vision. The Center is committed to offering an interactive, dynamic, child-centered teaching and learning environment that is carefully designed in accordance with the highest international safety standards, giving our children the optimal opportunity for growth, learning, and creativity.

    The Early Childhood Center takes great pride in its deep and sustainable partnerships with children's families and a wide range of community institutions.
