Gown Description

The unique design of the new graduation uniform is inspired by Qatar University’s logo which symbolizes the intertwining of Islamic/Arabic heritage with the educational system, where the embroidered geometric shapes on the graduation cloak symbolize the authentic Islamic/Arabic heritage, which forms part of QU’s logo and represents a symbol of pride, while the maroon color symbolizes the State of Qatar’s flag which corresponds to the history of the country and its civilizational dimension.

Graduation Gown Policies

• Female students must be graduates of the Class of 2024.
• Wearing the graduation gown is mandatory for all female graduates in the graduation ceremony. No modifications will be allowed to the gown design except for size modifications.
• Wearing previous graduation gowns is not permitted.
• Only electronic payments are accepted, e.g. Visa or Mastercard. If you do not have the previous cards, you can apply for a QNB Prepaid Mastercard.
• Female graduates who have not paid through the website will not receive gowns.
• The payment process is only electronic and cash payment is not permitted.
• The amount paid cannot be refunded.
• After clicking the payment link, fill in the student’s information, then choose the size of the gown and complete by paying.
• Please carefully review the available size chart.
• Female graduates can collect their gowns at the designated location 48 hours after the online payment process and according to the announced times. You may not collect it prior to this.
• The size of the gown chosen through the electronic payment system will not be exchanged with another size.
• A graduate is allowed to purchase only one graduation gown, noting that the size chosen by the graduate will be approved in the system.
• Female graduates should present their QU ID card or Qatari ID card.
• Female graduates should present the message that contains the e-payment receipt.

Payment will be via the electronic payment system for graduation uniforms.

Uniform Distribution Dates According to Colleges

Graduation Gown Polices for Female Graduates:

• Graduates must remain wearing the graduation uniform throughout the ceremony.
• Dress comfortably. Wear comfortable shoes that help you walk steadily for a long distance in the hall.
• Graduates are prohibited from wearing any emblem or scarf representing any country or organization during the ceremony or while ascending to the stage.
