The CCC consists of four distinct phases (See Figure 1). It lasts for one semester, where instructors are expected to complete 16 contact-teaching hours followed by the implementation and peer observation process by the end of that semester.
- Orientation: A mandatory Workshop, 2 contact hours
- Phase 1: Teaching; Three mandatory Workshops, 6 contact hours
- Phase 2: Assessment
- Phase 3: Specific, One elective workshop only, 2 contact hours
- Phase 4: Implementation and peer observation
